Based in St. Paul MN, Lisa Clare Nelson has spent most of her life making, studying, and working with art. 

 

In her painting practice, Lisa is inspired by landscapes and interested in abstraction as an approach to exploring the essential qualities that make something beautiful.

Lisa also spends a lot of time thinking and writing about community, streets, and transportation.
